Análisis de una serie de 32 tumores del tracto urinario superior
CONCLUSION
Los tumores del tracto urinario superior son una entidad
poco frecuente, donde la urografía por tomografía computeriza-
da multidetector (UTCMD) se ha convertido en el gold estandar
de las exploraciones radiológicas en el diagnóstico y seguimiento
de este tipo de tumores.
El gold estandar del tratamiento de los tumores del TUS, in-
dependientemente de la localización del tumor, continúa siendo
la nefroureterectomía radical con rodete vesical, aunque la ciru-
gía conservadora de nefronas en sus diferentes técnicas, es en la
actualidad una buena alternativa en casos seleccionados.
A pesar de ser una casuística limitada, los resultados obteni-
dos son satisfactorios independientemente de la técnica quirúrgi-
ca empleada al ser la supervivencia libre de enfermedad en el pe-
riodo de seguimiento del 100% y la mortalidad cáncer-específica
del 0%.
